My friends and I came here for the free Sunday brunch. The service was excellent and very friendly and courteous staff. We had the Deviled Eggs and they were nicely presented- 5 pieces and each with a different topping. I had the shrimp louie salad; it was a nice portion and it was very good (4+). My friends had the grilled cheese sandwich and the burrito and they were both good. I would definitely return. Thank you for the promo and your generosity!

Just tried Sixteen Mile Houses brunch and it was delicious. The omelette was perfectly seasoned and cooked and was filled with a ton of the ingredients I chose. The appetizer of deviled eggs was sooooo goood. Each egg had a different protein to try and they were all very good my favorite was the steak topped egg. My hubby had the shotgun caccia club and he thought it was so tasty and filling. The tater tots and Steak fries were so crispy and salty.

We came on a Sunday for their free brunch special and I cannot complain. Everything from food (both entree and appetizer), drinks & service was delish. I do wish the menu had a non alcoholic drink list to see what kind of variety they had but that's just my own preference. Great place overall.

Full disclosure: we took advantage of their free brunch promo today only. And we came for brunch last weekend because we had a gift certificate, and before that it was probably a few years between visits. But we really need to come more often. At our previous visit we had the Sixteen Mile Deviled Eggs to start and each egg had a different fun little protein topping. I loved the one with steak and the smoked salmon. Presentation was lovely. Today we ordered the Swedish pancake starter. There was a berry syrup drizzle which was not my kind of thing, too candy-like, but my husband liked it. The lingonberry butter was very nice. My husband got their Kobe Loco Moco both visits because it was so delicious. The Kobe patty was cooked perfectly. The gravy was amazing; I kept trying to figure out what made it so good--maybe a French onion kind of flavor? So deeply beefy with notes of caramelized onion. Last visit I got Sixteen Benedict, because filet mignon is always a good choice, which was good in theory. I thought the sauce was too thick but the flavor was good. The little bit of sprouts on top helped balance the richness but I would've enjoyed more sprouts or greens to balance. The side dish was tater tots and they were very crispy. Today I had Stable Steak & Eggs because I love steak. The 6 oz ribeye was perfectly char grilled. I could've used some seasoning. Eggs were good. Tater tots were consistently crispy and tasty. Both times, I took home most of my tots and my daughter immediately devoured them. My husband had to take home half of his loco moco each time because it was a huge quantity. And he actually ate the leftovers, which is a big deal because he usually forgets about his restaurant leftovers and doesn't eat them. To summarize, the star is definitely Kobe Loco Moco. Everything else is good, but I can't get that Loco Moco out of my head.

Sixteen Mile House in Millbrae offers a classic steakhouse experience with a warm, opulent ambiance reminiscent of a historic saloon. Diners frequently praise the attentive service and dishes like the 10 oz. filet mignon and beef stroganoff, which are noted for their flavor and quality. However, some patrons have reported inconsistencies in food quality, particularly with the prime rib.

I tried escargots for the first time, and while it's hard to say if they were good, I liked them anyway. The highlight for me was the sauce the escargots were swimming in. The fried shrimp and fries were crunchy, tasty, simple, and good. A glass of wine accompanied the meal, making it a delightful dinner. I'm not a fan of their decor, but it's fine. They have a bar with TVs and sports channels, which is a plus. I also appreciated the service; they take care of their customers.
